Planes, trains, and automobiles! The Quantico region has all three!

There are four airports within an hour drive from Quantico MCB: Reagan National Airport, Dulles International Airport, Stafford Regional Airport, and Manassas Regional Airport. Dulles International Airport is one of the largest airports in the country, and is located northwest of Quantico in Loudoun County, VA. Reagan Airport offers flights to most destinations within the continental United States, and is easily accessible because of it is location, directly off the yellow line metro in Arlington, VA.
 

There are two regional airports in the Quantico region, one is located in Manassas and one in Stafford County. These regional airports offer hangers to lease for corporate or personal jet storage, and are conveniently located to major roadways.

If you are interested in a means to get around town without the use of a car, you may find that the PRTC bus or the FRED bus service provides you with a perfect solution. The PRTC bus provides not only a commuter bus service, but it will also assist commuters with finding a ride-sharing program, and will provide a list of all commuter lots in the area. To learn more about the PRTC routes and times please visit the PRTC Transit website. The FRED Bus is based out of Fredericksburg, VA which is south of Quantico by roughly 15 miles. The FRED routes stretch far beyond the city limits into Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline Counties. Many commuters in Fredericksburg and Prince William County choose to commute by rail, and do so using the VRE, or Virginia Railway Express. The VRE offers an affordable solution for commuters. The VRE runs weekdays only, and runs north in the morning and south in the evening to accommodate Northern Virginia and D.C. employees. The Fredericksburg Line VRE has seven stops in the Quantico region, one is located in the city of Fredericksburg, one is in the town of Quantico at the Marine Corps Base, and the other five are spread across the eastern portion of Stafford and Prince William Counties. The western line, the Manassas Line, runs through the western portion of Prince William County anVirginia Railway Expressd has three stops within the county.
