Agricultural Tourism
If you are looking to explore the Quantico region agriculturally, visit some of the local farmers markets or enjoying a glass of wine at one of the local wineries.

WineriesWineries
There is a winery for everyone in the Quantico region.

  • Hartwood Winery
If you are interested in seeing one of the oldest wineries in Virginia and seeing how a family was able to start-up a winery in Virginia in 1989, then try visiting the Hartwood Winery. The Hartwood Winery offers wine tastings daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, but note that you must call in advance for the 10:00 am to 11:00 am tastings. Hartwood also offers private tastings, and holds several popular events throughout the year.

  • Potomac Point Winery
The Potomac Point Winery in northeast Stafford is the newest winery in the region, and features a bistro, a wine tasting room, gifts, outdoor patio, adirondack chairs that overlook the vineyard, and an event space that can accommodate any party. The Bistro at Potomac Point is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and the winery is only closed on Mondays. Please visit their website for specific hours of operation and a calendar of events.

  • The Winery at La Grange
The third winery, The Winery at La Grange is located in Prince William County, and is housed in a beautiful historic red brick manor home built in the 1790s. The Winery at La Grange opened in 2006 and also offers several event spaces to choose from. The wines offered at the winery include: Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Viognier, Rosé of Merlot, Cuvee Blanc, Norton, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Meritage, Tannat, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and a Port styled wine called Snort.
