About the BRAC Coordinator:
Tom Rumora has been involved with BRAC for 16 years, and has helped to plan and implement a variety of realignment, closure, privatization, and growth management scenarios involving Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine Corps activities in rural and urban settings. He led the transformation of a rural “ghost town” (closed base) into a 5,000-acre airpark / community, and guided the unprecedented transfer/leaseback of an active military base to a local community.
